Despite his young age Casimir Ekman is a renowned artist, promoting jazz music around Europe. Under his belt are the prizes of Best soloist in the Finnish big band competition not only once, but twice, and most recently his musical contributions can be heard on the Grammy nominated record (2023) Remembering Bob Freedman- Ron Carter and the Jazzaar festival Big Band. Casimir Ekman is publishing his first record as a leader in september 2023 under the Bopcat label.
